MWH Wines: First tasted in 2000 at Chateau Petrus during the en-primeur tastings, this was a clear winner in terms of the Pomerols with wonderful quantities of juicy black fruits - berries, plums and damsons - ripe tannins and just a suggestion of minerals. It has put on weight as the acidity has subsided and is now soft, luscious and ripe. Another winner from this impeccable property.
Wine Spectator: A pretty, fruity red with beautiful tobacco, berry and cedar. Medium-bodied, with good soft tannins and a pretty finish.
