1970 Vintage Port is, rather like 1970 Bordeaux, classic, slightly underrated and gorgeous. Classically defined wines that will age wonderfully, they are something of an 'insider's vintage'. The Croft 1970 is medium bodied, dry-ish, elegant and high-toned, this is an easy going, gentle incarnation of the 1970 Vintage Port. It's drinking beautifully now but has the stuffing to go on for years to come.
