The Martinez 1970 Vintage Port is an now mature, soft and drinking brilliantly. Generally the 1970 Vintage Ports are, rather like 1970 Bordeaux, classic, slightly underrated and gorgeous. Classically defined wines that will age wonderfully, it is something of an 'insider's vintage'. The Martinez 1970 Vintage Port retains touches of sweetness and is now medium bodied and with lovely cranberry and raspberry tones complimenting the original brambles and stewed plums. Spicy, rich and evolving well, it has a great deal to offer.
