These bottles were acquired from a cellar in Edinburgh. They were bought in 1966 and had lain there until November 2020. They are identified by the cork only as they have no labels. I am assuming they were bottled by a Scottish Wine Merchant who branded the capsules 1960 Vintage Port.
I have tasted the port and it is excellent condition with plenty of fruit left and still has a very bright, vibrant colour. Damp Scottish cellars are about as good as it gets for port.
