Scharzhofberger Riesling Kabinett 2009, Kesselstatt - Case
MWH Wines: Weingut Reichsgraf Von Kesselstatt is more than 650 years old and thus one of the most historical estates in the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region. No other wine estate in Germany has such an unusually broad spectrum of top vineyards in all three river valleys of the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region. These are sites that number among the best white wine vineyards in the world. There are 36 hectares of vines and all work in the vineyards is done by hand. Extensive vineyard maintenance and low yields all combine to make exceptional wine.
The yeasts that naturally occur in the vineyard are used to encourage spontaneous fermentation, which takes place in stainless steel in order to conserve and foster the intense, fruity character of Riesling. Lengthy ageing on the fine lees underscores the refreshing fruit, clarity and transparency of Mossel wines - that is to say, wines with an elegant lightness and a unique mineral tone.
Please note this wine is only available as a case of 12 and not as single bottles. If you wish to inquire about a bottle purchase, then please contact us by clicking here.
