MWH Wines: 1985 was an outstanding year for Vintage Port and ranks with the likes of 1977, 1963 and 1945 in terms of its quality. The heat suited Taylor in 1985 and the resulting wine is full, fleshy and deeply concentrated. Black figs, damsons, blood orange and cherry all come together in an harmonious fashion for this lovely Taylor's Port. Drinking well now and with much more to come.
